LabelNowPrivacy Policy
LabelNow is an iPhone app that makes USPS shipping labels for Discogs sellers. This page explains, in plain English, what information the app uses, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted.
The short version: we use your Discogs orders and your shipping details only to make labels, email them to you and mark orders shipped when you ask. We do not sell your data. We don't show ads, and we don't use analytics or tracking tools.
Information we use
From your Discogs account (after you log in with Discogs)
- Your Discogs username, user ID and an access key that lets LabelNow read your orders and, only when you tap Yes, mark an order shipped and message the buyer. We never see your Discogs password.
- Your paid orders: order number, the buyer's Discogs username and name, the shipping address, the items, the prices and the messages on the order. We read the messages so we can pause a label if the buyer writes after paying (for example, to change the address).
- Your Discogs profile (name, email, location), used only to fill in your setup form so you don't have to type it.
- Your inventory listings, used only to suggest package weights.
Information you give us
- Your seller details: name, email, phone, company (optional) and ship-from address. These go on your labels and are used to open your label wallet.
- Your settings: record weights, box sizes, shipping service, daily spending limit, notification choices and any customs values you enter.
- Messages you send to buyers through the Mark shipped step.
Payment information
- You add a card or Apple Pay to your own EasyPost label wallet. The card number is entered in a secure form from our payment processor, Stripe, and goes straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- We store only the card brand, the last 4 digits, the payment IDs we get back and your auto-reload settings.
Labels and activity
- For each label we keep the tracking number, the label link, the carrier and service, the postage price, the ship-to address and buyer name, the result of the address check, and the history of any replaced labels. This lets you reprint a label, change an address and see what was spent.
- We keep a short list of recent in-app notifications (up to 100) and your daily totals for automatic labels, so the daily limit works.
Your device
- The app stores your sign-in session and your preferences on your iPhone.
- If you turn on notifications, we store your device's push token (for up to 5 devices) so we can send you LabelNow alerts about your orders. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings at any time.
How we use it
- To make shipping labels for your paid orders and email them to you.
- To check that a buyer's address hasn't changed before a label is made.
- To mark orders shipped on Discogs and send tracking, only after you tap Yes.
- To enforce your spending limits and show your label history.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't build profiles about you or your buyers.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job for you:
- Discogs: to read your orders and, when you tap Yes, update them.
- EasyPost (shipping labels): your seller details, to open your label wallet; and for each label, the buyer's name, address and phone (if given), the package size and weight, and customs details for international orders. EasyPost buys the postage from USPS.
- Stripe (payments): your card or Apple Pay details, to add them to your label wallet.
- Resend (email): your email address and the label email (order details and the label PDF), to deliver it to you.
- Cloudflare (hosting): runs our servers and stores the data described here. Cloudflare's AI service, running on Cloudflare's own network, reads the address text and buyer messages to spot address changes. Your data is not sent to any other AI company.
- Supabase (network relay): passes requests between our servers and Discogs. It doesn't store your orders, but may keep standard technical request logs for a short time.
- Apple: delivers push notifications if you turn them on.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others. If Blake Labs Inc. is ever sold or merged, this policy would continue to apply to your information.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How we protect it
- All connections use HTTPS.
- Your saved Discogs access key and your EasyPost keys are encrypted on our servers.
- Only the Blake Labs team can reach our systems, and only to run and support the app.
How long we keep it
- We keep your account details, settings and label records while you use LabelNow.
- Unfinished setup forms are deleted after 90 days. Sign-in handoff data is deleted after 15 minutes.
- When you ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law. EasyPost and Stripe keep their own records of labels and payments under their own privacy policies.
Deleting your data
Email blakelabsincorp@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my LabelNow data”. Send it from the email address on your LabelNow account, or include your Discogs username. We'll confirm and delete your LabelNow account and data within 30 days.
You can also remove LabelNow's access to your Discogs account at any time in your Discogs settings, under Applications.
If you're a buyer
If you bought from a seller who uses LabelNow, we process your name, shipping address, phone (if given) and order messages on the seller's behalf, only to make and track your shipping label. For questions, contact the seller or email us.
Children
LabelNow is for sellers who are 18 or older. It is not meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Where your data is processed
Blake Labs Inc. is in the United States, and the services above process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app.
